About ApexSensei
ApexSensei is a practice site for Salesforce Apex. You learn a topic, then you write the code yourself and run it in your own free Salesforce Developer org. Every drill is checked automatically, so you know right away whether your Apex works.
The path has 98 drills in 9 modules. It starts with variables and collections and ends with triggers, test classes, async Apex, debugging and production habits. The first two modules are free.
Our mission
Make Apex something you practice, not just read about. Trailhead and books teach the ideas well. What they leave out is the hours of writing real code against real limits, with something that tells you when it's wrong. That gap is what stops admins from becoming developers, and what makes new developers nervous in their first job. ApexSensei exists to close it.
Every drill has a scenario, a task, and starter code. Org drills run in your Developer org, and the ones that need it are checked with a bulk set of records.
How it works
- Learn a topic in a few minutes, then write the code yourself.
- Run it in your own Developer org. Pattern drills run in the browser and do not need an org.
- Get graded automatically. Pass a drill and it stays yours, even if you cancel.
Why ApexSensei exists
Most Apex learning is reading. You finish a module and you have still not written a trigger that survives 200 records. ApexSensei exists so you can practice the way you will work: in a real org, against real limits, with a check that tells you when the code is wrong.
